Duraspark wiring question

I've read it and searched it a thousand times so please excuse me if ya'll are tired of answering questions on Duraspark but I'm in the middle of it and have conflicting info or maybe I'm just looking at them wrong.....(attached)

#1 On the ignition switch. Disconnect the resistor wire and replace or leave in place and bypass it? Mustangsteve.com says disconnect. Another place says just bypass.
#2 On the coil. I've got the plastic horseshoe type cap. Green wire to - connected in Duraspark harness. Red wire (+) tap into red wire in harness?

Ok, so I went with the 2nd diagram and everything appears to be fine. Didn't disconnect the resistor wire but I'm not using that circuit so should be fine, right? Seems to work. She's running anyway. I have Duraspark! Thanks guys! Couldn't have done it without this resource. :fr:
