painless wiring harness
has anyone used the painless wiring harness on their truck. what are the pros and cons of switching to this from the original factory harness?

Re: painless wiring harness
from what i heard you have to use the old connectors from your wiring harness on the new painless harness. so what yo uare buying from them is a bundle of wires attached to a fuse box. and the wire colors wont match the truck original colors. so tracing wires will be a pain to do. this is all from what i have read in the past of others doing it.

I'd just like to say that 390Nut on the forums here makes a harness that has gotten rave reviews. He could probably use the business right now too.

Wow that #10118 is pricey, I was thinking of using a universal one from ebay or somewhere
