I found a set or original cab roof marker lamps for my 72 F250. Is there a template available to mount these correctly? There are five of them. If not does anyone have ideas on the best weay to mont these?
Thanks,
Herm

The best thing is to measure a truck (90's or older) and get somewhere close.
I don't think there's a factory dimension for our trucks.

Re: Cab Marker Lamp Placement
Does anyone have pictures of the correct original style cab marker lights? I want to add some to my truck, but keep it stock style.

Thanks. Are those factory style?
I saw a bump around here with some big chrome cab lights. They were like pods like these:

(found the image in a google search, don't yell at me about the site)

Yes I believe they are . I am the 2nd owner. The original owner passed away and I bought the truck. His niece says the cab marker lights were on the truck when her uncle bought it new.Oren09 wrote:Thanks. Are those factory style?

Here's a comparison of original and aftermarket lights...

The one on the left is the original made for Ford by Dietz. I just stripped a set off a '71 complete with factory harness for my '68.
Here's a few lenses with an NOS original on the left.

I took measurements of the original mounting holes and found them evenly spaced at 11 1/4". The lights flanking the center one are set back about half an inch and the outer ones are set back about 1 1/4" further. You'll be able to see the holes in the center roof support rib for mounting the center light.
