Hey if you can wait until Monday I think I have all the parts you need. I am just down the road in Springville. No shipping costs. If your other options fall through let me know.

This may be a much better option for ya 04stangman

I can't really tell from your pics whether your upper valance is late or early (and sadly, I don't know the width measurements to help you verify).

Your latch is the early style (67-68 style), and mine is the later style. If your valance is early as well, you'd need my valance as well (which I wouldn't charge a penny more for, but the shipping would certainly be much higher).

Gonna add some pics for the sake of it.

Sending you a message on it now. If what mljjones67 has is the early type, there's no question to it working.

Frank

EDIT: Just got off the phone with him and he would like to use the later bracket if it will work on his valance...... can anyone tell from his pic and these if he has the early or late valance? Thanks!

As it mounts (this is actually my truck, didn't think to get one of the parts truck before I pulled the parts).

Dug out the reading glasses and it seems his is an early valance as well as bracket and the later won't fit.

Deal still stands, and in fact I'll throw in the later valance free if you want to pay the extra shipping. (Would be substantially higher for the size)

Frank

I'm thinking his must be an early production 69?????

From the tech pages. (69-72 "late" on top ~~~ 67-68 "early" on bottom)

yeah usualy it hits the top of cab and ruins everything there windsheild trim and all. I have hinges. if no else does and if they are the same from 67-72 or atleast 68/69-72.

same deal as freaky 25 adn shipping. are you going to be able to unbend the hood a bit and just bondo or gonna search for a jy beauty?

yeah his is the early, early upper latch and lower latch usauly mean early valance, although it's possable tu use the early style latch with the late valance.

let us know if you get it all straightened(no pun meant) out.

I am glad you and lil lady are ok...everything else can be replaced.

I've had accidents with each of my girls in the car, can't explain how
it felt knowing my baby could have been hurt in situation I had no control
over.

Now you have to take her for Ice Cream when truck is fixed.

Look to the left of my post, under the avatar, and you'll see a "PM" (private message) icon.

Click on it, and it's like an individual e-mail, rather than a forum post.
