That is actually a pretty good deal but is it a custum or universal? I just might return my universal painless. It was about that neiborhood in price anyways.

It is still considered a universal harness, but they build it with the options and accessories that you will ahve on your truck.

It should. I saw that ROn offered ford harnesses so I would think it would have the right connectors. Nothing do but to ask.

You could re-use your existing harness and upgrade just the fuse block to the 18 circuit and add on to it.

That is what I will be doing when I get to that point. I also want to add power windows, xm radio, cd changer, shaved handles w/ external remote to open.

I had thought about it, but going ground up I don't trust a 40 year old harness anymore.

I don't know how hacked up mine is but with everything I want to do I want to make sure the harness is new and have plenty of circuits to wire off of.

Let's see some pictures. What extra circuits did you have done to it?

so did it come with all ford connectors? what about the headlight pig tails and all? Is there any/much soldering that needs to be done, or is it all mapped out nicely and ready to be plugged up?

i am getting interested in this wiring stuff as well. I am at the point to where I am ready to check my wiring to make sure it is all good but also on the other hand, i am upgrading the stereo and maybe putting in a GPS in the truck. Plus, I want to upgrade the headlights too. Does the wiring handle the upgraded headlights too?
