re: Dome light help
You just broke the bulb? Heck, unscrew it and screw in the replacement. Use a pair of needlenose pliers to grab it, push in and twist to release it from the socket.

re: Dome light help
Well, I guess it's been a long day. Sorry, wasn't getting the guist of your question. You wanted to know how to fix the always-on light, not how to remove the broken bulb.
The plunger in the door switch completes the electrical circuit which supplies power to the bulb. If your bulb is always on, then one of the switches is bad.
Either that, or your headlight switch is bad. When you twist the knob all the way counter-clockwise it turns on the bulb. Does it go off when you turn it back the other way (clockwise)?

Ok I took out the broken bolb and replaced it and now nothing. What did I do? I went to napa and they gave me what seems to look like the right bolb but now no light, I even turned on the engine...If it's the light switch, which worked before I broke the bolb what do I do now.

re: Dome light help
Thanks I didn't think of that one. The fuses are located under the dash by my feet right?

Nope changed the fuses and nothing what else heard something about the light switch but it worked before I broke the bolb. Is it possible I ruined the switch???? Any other options to fix.....
