Help with King Pin Size
I have a 65 F250 2WD that I am doing a disc brake conversion. I got a doner front end from a 68 F250 with the all the parts. I have torn it a part and need to replace the king pins. I have seen the application chart http://fordification.com/tech/discbrakes01.htm that shows for a 68 f250 it should be 6.35 x .85 When i measured the ones i pulled from the truck with a caliper it measures like .95 I see in the chard there is a 6.45 x 1.05 for a 71 f250. Could it worn that much, or am I measuring it Wong? it the bore size and not the pin size? Just doesn't seem to match up with any of the options.

Re: Help with King Pin Size
I'll go out on a limb here and say that the difference between the SLICK era F-250 versus the BUMP era F-250 will probably not interchange?=F1Kiesel

If you can find our member PartsMonkey/Hawkrod he worked for Ford for many years and will have the correct parts interchange parts numbers, (prob no help with actual dimensions though).
You're probably also gonna want to try starting the same thread/topic over on the Slick 60's website/forum:
