Locked drum brakes
I have a Dana 60 in the rear, it's frozen up good. I think the brakes are frozen to the drums or something. How do I go about removing the drum? Just a really big hammer?

Re: Locked drum brakes
Did you remove the axle before attempting to pull off the brake drum? Here is an excellent thread on this:

Re: Locked drum brakes
Well I finally got them off. 6 hours worth. Pads were rusted to inner drums. The adjustment wheel on both sides was frozen. So I took out the brake cylinder and punched it out from the back. Worked like a charm. Thanks for the help !!
