Flashing Over Drive light keeps flashing. 2001 grand marquis

I had all the senloids changed out and electral in the tranny, check conections at the tranny, they said change out the EMC, anyone had this problem and where is the EMC located. TY Den

The ECM in our earlier CV's (we have four of them in the stable now) is located if I recall, above the brake pedal. It's easy to change.
