If you are trying to take the complete unit out take coolant hose's off to start with. Look under the hood looking for bolts that come threw firewall on passenger side. The bolts have speed nuts on them and should have a rubberized sealant around them. There is a pair of defrost ducts on top of that unit that will have to come off also. Be careful with the ducts they might be brittle and could damage them when handling. There should be a rubber boot from the kick panel to the box that will have to come loose. You should not have to deal with the dash at all.
