Grounds
I finally got all my lights working properly but now they are acting crazy. Such as one brake light stays on when everything is off and other ramdom acts. These symptoms lead me to believe there is a bad ground so I cleaned up the metal to metal contact between the tail light assembly and bed. No luck... So if anyone could please tell me where are all my grounds are located so I can clean them all up that would be great.

Re: Grounds
It is tough to chase electrical issues without detailed information about what is happening. But if you think it might be a bad ground at the rear light, you may want to run additional grounds and see if that takes care of it. Run a ground strap from the cab to the bed, and a second ground strap from the frame to the bed. The beds are grounded to the frame through the bed bolts but over time, it is possible that dirt and grime can effect those grounds. Make sure any new ground straps are attached to bare metal.
Did your truck at some point have the rear wires hacked for a trailer hookup or something like that? That is a more likely source of your troubles...

Re: Grounds
My rear lights were all cut up, so I straightened them out and replace the turn signal switch. When I got done everything worked fine except when I turned the right blinker light on the blinker light and back up light would blind one after the other. I figure it was just a short in between where I wired the right lights in and the taillight assemble. Reason I thought that was because the left side worked with out an issued and all the taillights are hard wired to the same place. Anyways now the right brake light won't turn off when everything is off, the left blinker doesn't work but does work with the emergency lights on, the emergency light don't blink they just turn all of the light on like running lights.

Re: Grounds
Check your brake light switch--you may have an issue in the switch (like it's cracked and grounding) or you may have a turn signal switch short--I had one in my truck. Replaced the brake light switch first, and then the TS switch. Fixed it...

Re: Grounds
I replaced the turn signal switch already and had to adjusted/tested the brake light switch using a test light. It light up when it was supposed and I didn't have any issues.
