locks no working/rear view mirror display

Post by PC89 »

I have 2 issues on my 2000 f250 that are bugging me.

The first one is my locking buttons won't lock or unlock the doors. They try to do it but it's like they aren't getting full power. Is there a relay that controls them that could be bad?

The second one is the display on my rear view mirror keeps flickering like the power has a bad connection. would replacing the mirror fix this?

Thanks for the help!

Don't know about your mirror problem or a 2000 but my son's 2010 F150 door locks quit on him. They replaced them under warranty and said it was known problem, the actuators, that is.

My 06 F-150 XLT had the lock issue at a yr or so old.. Dealer fixed under the Bumper to Bumper.
