Hi everyone, Do any of you have a diagram of just the charging system? I am trying to hook mine up to charge the battery on a temporary basis. I need to know what needs to be hooked up so the battery can charge.
I have the harness on the alternator do I need any of the other wires that plug into the alternator harness?
Also where does the black with orange stripe wire go on the alternator?
I have mine hooked up to the post that is encased in the black ring on the back of the alternator.
I have a 429 in the truck if this helps. I don't know if the alternators are any different between engines.
thanks again for the help.
