Electronic Fuel Guage (PCM Controlled)

Post by bill69f100 »

Hey, I know we didn't have PCM's on the older ones. I did a conversion and put a 05' cvpi electrical system on the re-wire system that is in my 69 f100 2wd. I put the engine and trans in the truck also. All electronics minus the "ABS and the SRS systems". The problem I'm having is the PCM doesn't recognize the sender from the tank. It is a 240 ohm empty and 33ohm full sender from Autometer. I hooked it up direct to the cluster from the car and got a past full reading. Anyone have an idea how I can fix this so the "stupid" light will stay off. I can clear the code, after awhile it comes back. I've seen a couple guys make the same conversion never heard if they had the same problems.
