Is my 67 F100 supposed to have a cargo light and doom light? I have spot for the cargo light switch on the dash. Here's pics if that helps any. I think somebody filled in the holes and painted over it with that brown looking color. The factory exterior color is supposed be all white. I acquired this already in pieces almost 2 years ago.

Ok. I'll check it out. I dont even think I got doom light either. The headliner and trim has been taken out as well. I got the headliner and trim. There anything to look for a the wiring harness itself?
The cargo light was an option...not standard issue and not alot of people got it. The dome light on the other hand is. Here's a pic of my 67 dash....kinda hard to see,but it's there. click on the image and enlarge it....you'll somewhat see the chrome delete button..thats missing out of your truck

Maybe I need to another pic of my dash since the column is out. That we all can determine what goes in of the holes. I still think I'm supposed to a cargo light. Maybe the PO does good body work when hiding things like this.

Not all of them...
Never seen the hole in any of the base pre-70 trucks I've owned.

Obviously you are right, I have never had one that did not have a chrome plug and obviously mistakenly assumed that they were all that way. My 67 does have a chrome plug but it is a Ranger. Hawkrod
