F600 gauge wiring

Post by CNM67 »

I need some help hooking up my F600 gauge cluster to my 67 F100 since my 67 doesn't run a full gauge cluster. If this has been covered before can someone point me in the right direction. Thanks.

He was running dummy lights and will now have full gauges. I know the directions to do the dummy lights to gauges is here somewhere but everytime I try and search, the search function is not working. Anyone got a link to the modification?

That was not at all fun Rich (searching old school way), but I might have some help. Here's a few good threads on the F-600 panels that I "learned from".

Keep in mind the 69 wiring would be different than my 71'. Maybe Shayne can chime in here as he helped me tremendously when I put mine in.
Don't know what to do with the above as the links were there-they did not paste... :hw:

Try this one...go about half-way down the page to the links:

edited to add links the 2nd time.

Im pretty good with wiring and did my own F600 dash, but mine was from a full stock gauge cluster. Caleb is running dummy lights for his oil and alt readings and I remember reading that there was something you needed to do to make the oil gauge and alt gauge read when converting from dummy lights to gauges. This is the info (link) I am looking for. I will check out all those links you supplied when I get a chance at home since I suddenly can't access the forums hers at work now. Thanks for the reply.

You actually did help Jeff! The first link you listed had what I was looking for in the thread. So figured it out. Got the oil pressure gauge hooked up and just bypassed the Amp gauge since it is worthless anyway. Eventually he will use new gauge replacements for the 4 small F600 gauges, but for now, they are hooked up and working.

Thanks again!

Rich,
That's cool, glad it helped.
I'd love to take my panel and do like Shayne did to his someday.
