Re: turn signals?
Cis for charge. D is for discharge. i learned that in skool. haha. it is making a short in the system when you use it. one thign that might work. is to turn onthe signal. after the guage pegs over / moves over. start pulling fuses until the needle comes back to normal. once the neddle comes back. then the fuse you pulled is the circut with the short in it. now yo ujust have to trace the wires to find the short. which is possibly in the turn signal switch area or the plug for it under the dash off of the column.

Re: turn signals?
what year of column? did you have to change the plug on the column to plug into the trucks wiring harness? if so maybe the wires got crossed into the wrong places on the plug. check your bulbs. maybe one of the wire elements burnt in half and is crossign over to the other side. doe sit do it with the flashers on? or just the turn signals? if it does it with only the signals but not the flasher. then it could be in the turn signal flasher can. these are just some ideas really.
