Testing my horn

How do I test my horn to see if I am getting 12 volts?

Hook up an ohmmeter (or test light) to the horn wire and then hit the horn button. If the meter registers 12V (or the test light illuminates), you've got power.

If you don't, don't think automatically that the horn is defective. More than likely it's the spring-loaded contact under the steering wheel. These wear out and need to be replaced periodically.
