Has anyone ever noticed that every single thermostat housing on a 390 and 360 has the exact same dimple in the elbow? It looks like somebody dented the original casting form and they went ahead and made them anyway, with the dent still there.
I even have a new one, in the box, that came with a parts truck. The dent is in that one too.
