1960 F100 question

Post by dssco »

I know this might be off topic but I'm gathering parts for my future '60 ford pickup project and need to know if a '65 Ford truck bench seat would be semi-correct for it. I figured if anyone would know it would be you guys. Thanks!

here is a 64 bench seat. i think the seat tracks will bolt right in but dont quote me. this seat does look very similar to the seats in our trucks too as far as design. but our trucks didnt have the lightning bolt design in the seat back.

Go over and join FordTruk.com. quite a few of us belong over there and here. There is some discussion every now and then about this subject,

I've got a '60 and i put a '77 seat in it.
It's been a long time, but I think I bolted the '60 seat tracks to the '77 seat.
I needed to block the front up (an inch?) and "modify" the adjustment handle.

Went and got a '64 seat and tossed it in the '60 today. Width is identical, bolt hole spacing on the tracks is the similar except for the spacing, 1960 is 14" and the '64 is 15 1/2 inches. I like it so I'll make it fit. Thanks everyone.
