Stopped to check on a rear for a Mack and guess what I found?



A 69 highboy with a dent bed. Body is toast but it's got an FE, 4 speed, power steering, power brakes, Ranger trim and a/c. Another guy spotted it first and relieved it of the drip gutter trim and radio plate for his wife's F750. Other than that it's complete. I'm going to buy it but I have to call the yard owner in the morning to get a price. Since I work for him part time it will help.



Grille is tarnished but straight.



A/C appears to be intact. I think it will look a lot better cleaned up and installed in my 72.

The dash pad looks in good shape from the picture. Nice find on the truck.

Same thing i'm thinking. Dent chassis with bump body except bed because the mounts are different and they didn't bother..

If you're going to part it out, the power assist steering set-up may be worth what you pay for it (if you get a nice price).

Winter was rough and this truck spent most of it buried in a snow pile but I finally got it home. Also had a chance to give it a good look see. It's a bump cab and clip on a dent frame.



A/C unit is complete and plastic is in nice shape. The compresser is frozen but not that big a deal since York style compressers are common to big trucks and readily available.



Lots of goodies including a sport bumper. It's slightly tweaked on the right side but a bit of work with a porta power and it can be sent to a chrome shop.




Fenders have some surface rust but no holes.



Grill has a very slight bow a the bottom but can be easily straightened.

Ryan, I'm not quite sure what I'm gonna do yet. I'm working 2 jobs and time to work on my stuff is scarce. I'd like to put my 67 body on it but finding the time is the problem.
