can they be installed and work on a 67-72 f-series?

Are these the pins that are chrome and you lock them with a trailer hitch pin or a small pad lock? I was thinking about doing that to mine, but F.O.R.D. remined me that these Fords allready have one head spliter hang down off the hood 
.
I was going to put them on to were the hood is closed the pins point down thru the rad (grill) support.

yeah, i think the biggest headaches I have had is the head cracking tool ford built into the hood release. 
That and the other week my buddy gave me some(2) of those Offset Rims, They look cool! I Went To9 put them on and sure enough i hit my head on The Bumper.
I have the one that supposed to set flush with the tail gate, but some previous owner (I Think i'm the third one) Took and cut the ends off and Weilded them back on protrudingly towards the back. Ouch
Now to get the original bolts out all calcified.
That and the other week my buddy gave me some(2) of those Offset Rims, They look cool!
