Hood scoop

:( :hmm: :nono: :hw:
Ditto... I feel no love when I see a new style scoop on an older truck. I love the '70 Boss 429 scoop on mine. It's size appropriate for the truck. I have a couple '69 Torino scoops and they would look ok on a smaller F100.

I'd go with a 69-70 Mach 1 scoop.. ever notice our "hood spear" is very close in appearance to those year Mustangs?

Lol I agree. But I'm open to New ideas. The newer ones are cheap. Oem or reproduction mustang hood scoops are more $$$

I'm dead nuts serious.... If I was joking then I'd add an emoticon/smiley.

Just thinking out of the box...

10-4.. I'll go back to recommending the 69/70 Mach 1 scoop.
___________

A rear bar? Sorry I don't. I've got only one and it's slated either for the 70 F100 or the 71 F250. I've run into an issue on the 70 due to the axle flip and relocated/re-angled shocks. If it doesn't work out, then it'll go on the 71.

However, ultraranger stated in my FTE build thread he'll be using a 78-79 Bronco rear bar. It's worth investigating IMO. : http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/11548 ... st14957704

Learned something new today about our bumps. That this licence plate bracket and light Came on almost all slicks bumps and dents from the factory. And that dealers installed the bumpers. I just thought when I got this 67 bed it was a rare option. Pretty cool. I like it, kinda makes me not want to get a role pan.

I saw this pic of a bump on a Facebook page. And this is how I want my bump to stand. The front is close to the height I'd like. The rear I'm gonna drop next about and inch.

Here it is at stock height

When it's time to add a roll pan, I plan on doing this. Hiding the hitch under the licence plate. Use a fairlane spring loaded flip bracket.
