Yes, and yes. Also, your idle would could possibly be spitting and sputtering, poor fuel economy and loss of power. Carb needs good vacuum. Would overall run not up to full potential. I always expect to see a good, steady 19-21Hg of vacuum when I set my timing or tune my carb.

Are you talking about the bottom piece in this picture? It's the parking brake equalizer. Got the other parts too, the thick bar and the adjusting bolt? Since you've got a short bed I don't believe you have the C clips that connect extension cables. Bronco Graveyard sells this one http://shop.broncograveyard.com/Equaliz ... nfo/12687/ that says it's for '73 and up F100. Looks like it'll work.

So last night I did many things to the truck. One being lowering the front end a bit. I cut one coil out. And it dropped it about 3/4 of an inch. I was shooting for an inch, close enough for now. Can u tell it's been lowered? I did this so that the tire an wheel would fill in the wheel well along the fender more. While not rubbing the fender. Ill drive it like this and see if I've reached that goal. Or it needs another fourth or half inch. The first pic is before the last is after.

Fan relay installed as well. I grounded the black wire going to the temp sensor. And instead installed a switch to turn it off if I need it.

Ok by the way I bought a vacuum guage/tester. And both the booster and trans are getting 18 in/hg. So i eliminated that possibility.

Next will be figuring out why my transmission takes a few seconds to go into drive all of a sudden. So i figured a new fluid and filter wouldn't hurt. Engine and trans are not original. So Hmmm which transmission do I have.

found this nifty chart to help. Well it can't be a c3 or medium case. I have servo so it's not an FMX (thank God), hmm removable bell housing so it's not a c6. C4 it must be :) is a c5 an AOD?
Oh I'm also getting a deeper pan just cause. Wouldnt hurt.
