Got the hood on. I haven't adjusted it yet to fit snug but I'm kinda thinking my hinges are tweaked. I used a different set then my original ones. The hood is setting all kinked to one side. Added to the list of issues to resolve

Dude that 67 grill look sweet in flat black. I suspect it is going to get glossy but try the whole truck in gloss with a flat back grill before you do. I thinks you will like it.

Been tinkering with the truck a bit.
Last time I ran the motor I ran it at idle for a while to make sure she doesn't over heat.
Lo and behold it did. I am just hoping it's a stuck thermostat.

I pulled the thermostat last night and put it in HOT water. And I didn't see any movement. So i slapped the therm. Housing back on with no thermostat and sometime this evening After a night of the gasket sealer curing. I'm going to put the antifreeze back in and idle her for a while in hopes it was a stuck thermostat.

Then if all is well tackle the hood fitment.

Well I did all the above
The engine didn't overheat. But I only ran it for 15 min. Is that enough time for it get to operating temp? At idle.
Got the hood aligned but I'm stumped on something.
The hood lines everywhere nicely but the driverside fender. it looks like.... well I can't explain it. I'll just have to take a picture and post it here.

I think adjusting the inner fender at the core support inwards plus adjusting the fender will suck in the fender...might require filing some holes.

That is totally fix-able! Just not sure how.

1. Try loosen in the bolts and pushing the fender in. My guess that won't do much.
2. Is where the fender aligns with the cab correct? Or can it be moved in ward?
3. Look down the inner fender on the flat port that slopes from the cab to the radiator support. Is it bent out ward?

Hey yeah life got in the way there for a bit. Yes and no on the body lines. Still got a few to adjust. I hope to have the exhaust installed the this weekend; after I figure out why my brakes are so soft. Gonna try and vacuum bleed my brakes and see if that helps.

Can't wait to drive it and feel that sway Bar in action.
