Hmmm. I think I would rough it out by hand (thumbs really) then massage with hammer/dolly. Find something suitable to use as a dolly. Remember 'first in, last out'. Maybe it's an excuse to buy Eastwoods trim hammer/dolly set? Every job should net you a new tool :D

Lol yeah that's true. Any reason to buy a tool, I take it.

Not sure how I'm gonna fit a dolly in there; There's a lip on the back. Makes it hard to get back there to pop it out.

Hmmm what to do what to do

so i worked on the fenders today, finished up the passenger side.
some primer
Image
Image

i also did a little something to the fenders to make sure they dont rust anytime soon.
look at all that dirt. but i was glad to see there wasnt any pending cancer rust on the other side.
Image
Image
Image

i sealed them both with this rustolium rust reversal rubber sealer. im glad i did this :D
Image
Image
i als had a problem with my door that i fixed. when trying to opening from with in side it would bind. not sure why but a few things were bent out of whack.
i also sanded and painted the door panels just cause. im doing the same to the other side.
Image

job for sunday night. oh boy more sanding.

Nice! I was shocked at how much crap was crammed behind that brace on mine. I would have sworn it was used to dredge sand in the harbor. I considered modifying the brace so I couldn't trap stuff but in the end I didn't modify it. I figured it would be a good test of the Eastwood products and the under coating I used. Here's hoping it lasts a good long time

Yeah, that cold snap was something....for everyone else that is. It's been sunny and 70 here in So Cal. I'm actually wishing for more winter. It's been too dry :(

LOL, true, true. But when you're on well water, more rain is always welcome. Out here at least.

Speaking of project, I was just looking at buying some seam sealer. It's warm and dry enough to use it

Well I got a lot done but the truck doesn't look any closer to being complete
Put on the passenger side door panel I painted.
Image

Painted these with that chrome paint. Not to bad looking
Image
Image
Image

I painted the 3rd sway Bar I've bought lol this one's now installed
Image

I also painted some 'for now' paint on the fenders and I plan to start installation of the front end very soon.

I also dove into the grille trying to fix that dent. I might have made things worse. So i might be in the market for another grille. Depending how much it could cost to get it fixed. I might just use it for now. Thank God I only spent $40 for it though.
