has anybody tried the factory bucket seats out of a ford ranger from the 80,s? or maybe a ford escort? i know you would have to make the brackets, but they might not be that hard to fab up. just make sure that you get the sliders with the seats any thoughts on this?

You should be able to fit any seats you want with the proper mounting brackets. The ones provided on this website, like the ones I made, are for the early mustang dimensions. A little tweaking of those brackets and you could fit any thing you wanted. Search around the interior thread a lot of people have already done this on here. I've seen some nice setups.

I have a set of 68 mustang bucket seats listed in parts for sale section. $75 pair they need to be re-upholstered.
