Are any inline fuses needed on the backup battery cables?

How would you incorporate a fuse panel for the camper, or would you just use inline fuses.

Your camper doesnt have a small fuse panel? Mine has one with only three fuse holders but its plenty for what is running inside the camper. I used a inline fuse in the main feed wire going to the camper fuse block. Just extra insurance if that wire found a ground somewhere I wouldnt fry the entire length of wire I have loomed under my truck into the camper plug.

I installed isolator on mine. Bought it at a swap meet last fall for 15 dollars and it works fine. My older camper had the HD solenoid on it and it worked fine too. I moved the factory Camper Special wiring from stock battery to drivers side battery. I am going to add 3 12 volt power points to my camper. It will keep my phone charged and my 12 volt fans working if needed. I am also going to throw in a trickle charger in the camper in case I camp for more than a week end and 110 power is available.
