Interesting. I usually drill 3/16" holes about 1/4" deep in the aluminum intake ends and then fill the holes with silicone before running the bead on the block surfaces.F100builder wrote:...Another thing that I usually do is put dimples along the rails with a sharp center punch and a light tap with a ball peen hammer.
