Me too!

So since I don't here's a nifty picture I took of one outside Moab, Utah ;)

Maybe if I get that cabin in the woods one day I can justify one for moving logs and stuff around (i.e. playing)...

Over the summer I found this baby on Craigs for a song.

1970 Ford 3000 w/ 5' brush deck. Speedometer is out of commission but i don't care. Gas engine.
Exhaust has also been rerouted down and dumps behind the driver like a car. no exhaust in the face!

I have a 1961 John Deer 3010 ... if you need to do farm work, you just can't go wrong with the John Deere "New Generation" tractors (3010/3020/4010/4020). We used to have a 4020, too, and it was really an awesome work-horse. My grandpa had it restored, but later sold it. Beautiful tractor that just WORKED. Easy to find replacement parts, too...

New tractors are nice and have a lot of great features, but all the electronic stuff is just something else to go wrong...

My dad has a small Kubota... I think Kubota and Deere are in together somehow or another, but they are good small-acreage tractors.

Sorry... no picture of mine right now (it actually belongs to my family... it was my grandpa's and he died last November, but I'm working the farm right now). But here's one from the 'net that looks like it, excepting this one has nicer paint. haha! Our 4020 had the wide front axle, but the 3010 has the row-crop front end like this one:

My first restoration project was a 38 Case RC. I drug it home from a salvage yard, fixed it up and drove it to the 7-11 once a week to get coffee until the guy who owned the yard finally convinced me to sell it back to him. It has a hand crank starter and I have to go by every so often a fire it up for him.

I have a '61 Ford 801 PowerMaster. Its a good old tractor. For the last 8 years its been running on 3 of its 4 slugs due to a burnt valve. Even with a dead slug, it still has plenty of power in low.

I'll post pics of it later. Im at work :(

Well I dont really own any life size John Deere's but I have driven many including MF, Ford, Case IH, New Holland, and many more. I do have a 2950 and a 6430 .Image I take that coffee cup everywhere lol. At the Farm I used to work at they got a new 6430 with the detachable bucket, 4x4, and with a lot more goodies.  It was sad to leave that farm, I learned how to drive so many tractors working there, and loved to watch the new guys only last a couple days because they couldn't with-stand 40 hrs+ weeks and many more times that I would just sleep in a tractors bucket or on straw bails because it was pointless to drive home for 3-5 hours of sleep. Had a couple job offers to work on some farms in MI for a friends family but heard a different calling.

Good afternoon!

The first vehicle I ever drove was an old Oliver with tank-style tracks. I don't know exactly what year or model it was, but it looked similar to this, but had a big hydraulic shovel in front:

I couldn't reach any of the controls on my own--I was sitting in my father's lap!
