Yeah, he was really lucky to walk away let alone race on Sunday. Simply amazing. If the crown of the cage hit the top of the wall, it coulda been over. As it was, he rotated just enough at the last second to take the brunt of the blow in the back of the cage, perhaps the strongest part of a TF dragster.
Kudos to the track owners for finally stepping up and fixing it before NHRA is back next year. This has been a problem at Thunder Valley for years.

did you notice in the replays, in slomo, you can see Cory Mac hunker down in the roll cage.....
