Pitman arm reassembly 72 F100 manual steering

Anyone have advice on the order in reassembly for the pitman arm, gear box and rag joint for a 72 F100? My bearings went out on my manual steering gear box so I rebuilt it and replaced the rag joint. I have the rag joint and gear box reinstalled but I 'm having problems getting the pitman arm back on the gear box output shaft. Thanks!

IT IS "KEYED" (HAS A WIDE SPLINE THAT HAS TO LINE UP) THAT ONLYU ALLOWS IT TO SLIDE ONTO THE SECTOR SHAFT IN ONE POSITION.

You might have to rotate/turn the steering wheel to get it to line up to the front end's current position.
