I thought I would show a couple of pictures that may be helpful to others. This is how the springs that hold the e brake cables are attached from the factory. I would imagine that many times these are missing or not installed properly.

I decided to make the transmission cross member removable. Here is a method that I use to remove rivets. Cut a cross in your rivet head as deep as possible without cutting into your frame. Then use your air chisel to cut the head off. Cutting the relief in the head weakens it and your chisel will go through it very easily. You can also cut it in to pie slices for even easier removal.

Fitting the fuel tank. This is the kit from LMC. Its hard to see in the picture but the tank is not square.If you look closely at the left side of the picture, which is the front, it is made at an angle. The flanges are square just not the tank itself. I had to trim the cross member to the front of it up to a quarter inch to make it fit. I really can't recommend this installation. I think flipping and moving the rear cross member then installing a mustang tank is a better option.
