So i got my alternator hooked up and truck runs. Im trying to add some led liscence plate lights. Im just screwing em together on the wires for the taillights with the caps.
Anyway. I tried to hook the 2nd one and link em together all in the same caps and my back up buzzer started going off when i turn my lights.on. beeeep beeeep beeeep. Lol.
So i tore it out. Now my lights flicker on my instrument panel and when i pull the lights not all the way and hit the blinkers. They are opposite on the panel but correct in the back. I pull it all the way out. They are fine. I cant seem to get both liscence plate lights to work. Just one. Still have the flickering lights on my panel though.
Do i need to wire my other plate light seperate than the other? Should i replace my light switch?
Thank you.
D

This is a '67 Ford?
The only thing I can suggest is to make sure that you're tapping the wires for the tail light filament of the bulbs and not the brake/turn filaments. Those have to be kept separate. Check to see if there is a polarity marked on the LEDs and make sure the negative side, if any, is grounded. Other than that, I don't know what to tell you.
