Bench Seat Foam Replacement

As I am moving along in my project, time to do some research. I do not see a viable (easy and cheap) replacement foam for the bench seat overhaul. What have you lads done? Buy bulk foam and trim it down? Any secret vendors? Any suggestion on the foam to get if it is a trim it yourself project?

I used bulk foam and trimmed it down. I also tried using spray-on foam cement to put foam around the edges and keep it in place, but it wouldn't stick. I went to a place that sold auto upholstery supplies, and bought the firmest foam they sold. When it came time to put it all together, I put a layer of canvas between the springs and the foam, to help keep the springs from damaging the foam.

I used bulk 1inch thick foam,2 inch cotton/polyester matting to go top of foam, jute webbing to take place of all them wires on frame, welded any broken springs, and hog rings to install material mentioned. Thought it turned out pretty good with using a aftermarket cover.
