replacing firewall pad?

Post by takehikes »

Before I think about in investing in replacing the firewall pad I'm very curious to know what all has to come out of the dash to get the pad out and back in.
I've insulated and sound deadened the whole cab except this area and now need to do it. Trying to get things a bit quieter in there.

This thread will give you a good idea of what needs to be pulled. You can slit the pad to get around having to pull the wiring harnesses through. http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... =6&t=75740

I just found a picture of an XLT with a carpeted firewall. I'd like that a lot. Anyone know who might have them?
