Does anyone know the correct route that the dome light wire takes? Is it from the light straight across under the headliner to the front driver side cab post? Or does it follow the hollow above the rear window and then take the same path that the fuel sender wire takes to the front driver cab post? Thanks guys.

Around the lip of the headliner if memory serves. Some later ones had little clip to hold it in place on the lip, maybe as an anti rattle device.
