One wire regulator

I am still sorting through the wiring on my 70 Short bed, and I have a question about one wire regulators. The one on mine is a F7078, are these worth it, or is it better to remove it and go back to the normal setup. I have no mods or planned mods except for a radio. Thanks.

If it works I wouldn't mess with it. If it doesn't I'd stay with 3g but go with the 3 wires unless you can find a similar unit at a price you can live with. But that's just my
