Fuel gauge
I restored a 1976 f150 with a 460, I replaced both tank level senders but cab gauge does not work gauge does not move when I ground sender wire, where can I get a diagram, I have looked everywhere

Yours is a '76 and this forum is for '67-'72 this diagram is for a '72 but it may help: http://fordification.com/tech/wiring_1972master.htm

Sorry for the silly question, but I am just learning the finer points of vehicle electrical. How do I ground the sender wire to test it?

1971 F-250, Wimbeldon White, 360, PB, dealer add-on A/C (A.R.A. brand), 1970 coded interior (23 - Med. blue/Light blue) with 42,000 miles.

Perfect! Thank you! As you can see 8 am relatively new to this forum. I have not had the time to check out all of the nooks n crannies for great info. I have been mainly checking for info on problems I have had via search and researching in the other areas as time permits. This one, however, is a gem. Answers all my questions on the gauge issue and using my meters. Thanks again!
