Hi, I have a 1970 f250 sports custom camper special that at some point had 4 cab roof lights fitted. They are long gone but I wish to put them back. I have measured the marks where they were as 8" long x 2 1/2" wide.
I know it's probably a long shot to find the same lights but if anybody knows which type or make they could be it would be appreciated.
Also was there a specific wiring harness for them?
I found these on ebay that appear be of similar size,I need to know the length between the screw mounting points which is 6 3/4" on my roof.

Re: Help with identifying original cab roof marker clearance lights
Should be five of them with plastic bases and some gaskets if they came from Ford. There were certain federal standards for the wider trucks and the cab roof clearance lights were part of the regulation.
These are from mine. I painted the bases with chrome paint.
That you have four with larger footprints makes me thing a PO added them. They are out there but I would not pay $100 for a set.

Thanks for your reply. What is a PO? There are actually 5 holes for each lamp so it looks like it's had two different sets of lights on it at some point. One lamp looks alot smaller than the other. I tried uploading a picture but it was too big.Ranchero50 wrote:Should be five of them with plastic bases and some gaskets if they came from Ford. Passed Owner. Sorry being a bit slow today. I may not refit cab lights to it but if I don't I will need the holes plugging or filling but I don't want to ruin the paint in the process. I had thought about painting the cab white to match the wheels but I prefer the boxwood green colour.
