Truck wire harness Emulator for gauge clusters

Post by 69Ford »

I wanted to be able to check my gauges and bulbs on my clusters before installing so I made this up. It is set up for the wire harness trucks. With this I can check the Oil Pressure, Fuel Level, Temperature gauges, bulbs, and Flasher. By moving the fuse to the selected spot. There are only two drawbacks so far, can't check the AMP meter, And if I'm checking the flasher with LED bulbs in the cluster I have to add resistance in the circuit as LED's don't provide enough for the flasher to work. I use a Radio Shack 110 to 12 Volt power supply. It is wired to use the clusters voltage regulator for the gauges. Next step is to add in a variable resistor into the gauge feed wire right now the gauges will just read full
