Greetings everyone,
I have a problem with my 1968 F-100.
I got everything to work except the park lamps when in the front when the headlights are on. When you pull the switch and go to the park lamp only position they work as they should but as soon as you pull the switch to the headlamp position the front park lamps go out. Just the front. Everything else still works as it should. The head lamp switch is a new Ford unit and the wiring is unmolested original.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Park Lamp Issue
That's the way it was designed. You can put a jumper in the switch if you would like them to stay on while the headlights are on. In the beginning these lights were called parking lights in 1970 they changed to running lights with both on at the same time. So no issue's with your wiring.

Would putting a 70 headlight switch be possible?

Not sure I just edited this post because I was thinking of the ignition switch. Maybe someone else can answer.

69Ford Thanks a million.
Been racking my brain trying to see if there is something wrong. It's definitely nice to have the knowledge base here.
Thanks again.
