F600 Cluster Install

Post by biggene »

Ok. These are the two connectors I have for my cluster. The top one is the stock one for my 72 F100 and the bottom one is the pigtail from the F600 I got my new cluster out of. All I should have to do is take the wires out of my original plug one at a time and place them in the plug for the F600 where the same color wire is located. Is that correct ? Lol. I hope. :D

I just got this cluster to put in my 69 F100. Is this just a plugin to my 69 harness? Also since the ALT and OIL gauges are idiot lights on my old cluster is there anything I have to do extra to get these to work?

Thanks
Joe

I have not attempted to do a F500 cluster from an Idiot light truck as these used different wire harnesses. You may run into more problems than you expect as there is no sensors for the lights just switches. Do some research an tell us how it turneds out.
