Ignition switch for 1969 F250

Post by Brewmaster »

I know this has probable been hashed thru before but I am a new to this site and I can't find the info, my F250 69 truck ignition switch has started to act up and the gauges will flicker if I play with the key, I have read about fires starting and a new switch, plug combo to solve the problem. I can find switches but not the plug with pigtails or a wiring schematic, I have stopped driving the truck till I can solve it. Any help would be appreciated.

Get an ignition switch for a 1970 and up Ford truck. They switched to 1/4" spade terminals, and the pigtail is also available. There are diagrams in the technical section. Note that the ACC pin and Coil pin are reversed on the '69 wiring diagram.
