I'm getting a 73 or 74 steering column, the one in my 72 is shot & they are so hard to find so I've found a PS/Auto that supposedly has the NSS & everything on it, I'm picking it up tomorrow so havent laid eyes on it yet.
I want to keep my flashers where they are, so what do I need to do about the wiring on the column?
I see everyone saying that the hazards are on the column so its extra wiring to do when doing this conversion, but I just want to do away with the hazards on the column, so what exactly do I need to do?
74 column into a 72, I have a wiring question

I Know this is old... But if you haven't figured it out, I would just use the column harness out of your 72

I've actually been doing bodywork & havent got it in yet. Looks like all I need to do is change the plug ends. Cut the one of my 72 & splice it onto the older one.AZf100 wrote:I Know this is old... But if you haven't figured it out, I would just use the column harness out of your 72
I think anyway, it has been a while since I've looked at it
