Relay Question
I am attempting to clean up the wiring in my 1970 F100. I have everything working and I am wondering if I can eliminate this relay (Pictured) that is on the firewall but I am having a hard time identifying what it does or connects to. It has a red wire with a white tracer plugged into it and a blue wire. I can not find it on the wiring schematics either. Can someone help me identify it and let me know if I can eliminate it? Thanks

Re: Relay Question
It doesnt look like this is part of this system. So you can probably unplug it. http://www.fordification.com/tech/image ... ator01.jpg

Re: Relay Question
Which transmission do you have? That relay looks like the relay for the electric overdrive circuit for the Warner T-85N 3-Speed OD transmission.
If that's what it is and you don't need it, you may be able to sell it.

Re: Relay Question
I have a C6. I know the truck had manual tranny in it at one point because the clutch pedal is still there. So that relay is not needed for a c6?

Re: Relay Question
You were right! Found a pic of it. Looks like it was part of the t85. Thanks!
