headlights 1969

Post by ricotesio »

My lights work on dim but go completely out when I try to use the high beams. I'm new to ask if this and trying to do some of the work on my own.
Thanks in advance

'Could be a high beam switch, headlight switch, or the high-beam filament in both headlights are bad.

Do you have a voltmeter? Harbor Freight carries them for as little as $10 or gives them out free with a coupon.

I'll go get a volt meter and do some research on those switches. Thank you
