Dash insert with gauges

Post by Mancar1 »

I have done this before, but I do not understand why I am ?ing myself on installing the Shark 6 gage dash insert in the 68. (may B a symptom of turning 65  ) I am running the grounds for all gages in series as well as the hot wire. I can't seem to locate a wiring diagram. Anyone have one?
The sending unit for the gas tank that came with the new set up is 90-0 ohm so it should work.
I am trying to figure out how to hook it up so the gas gage will read for both tanks. (The 68 is a CS)
Any input would be appreciated.
Yes I know gauges is how it is spelled, just thought I would throw it out as gages for any spelling nit pickers out there. ( humor is good   )
Keep on :drive: ......John

Yep, I do the same thing. I think turning 65 has an impact on the brain. I ask someone a question about a technical issue and then figure it out for myself. Seems the thinker is working, just slower than it used to process. Over course I am older than you, born in 1948.... :D

Yes
I was trying to get the Volt gauge to work using the Amp gauge wiring in the harness. Duh on me as they are animals of two different breeds.
