Is there a visual way to identify Ford/Motorcraft alternators? I have a few that I would like to ID and tag.

Alternator ID
When the woman screeched, "Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms!" I, naturally assumed it was a delivery....

Take a look a www.deadnutson.com. They restore alternators and have a lot of info on identifying them.

Re: Alternator ID
Interesting I replaced my working alternator with a rebuild just so it would look nice. Did not have the old one with me for the core charge. Now I'm glad I kept it. look at the differences in the pulley's. I also have the one off my other 69 that has this same pulley that was ordered with the higher output alternator. Anybody know how to tell apart.
