Dash Clusters Don't Match?
My lights don't work on my dash so I bought a new cluster on Ebay. Ad said it would work on 1977 Ford Trucks, even though cluster was from a Bronco. But it didn't fit. The plug slot on my '77 XLT is 2 7/16ths (not including the clasps). The one that arrived is just about 1/8th" smaller. The seller is cool and taking it back. But what do I look for to make sure this doesn't happen again. The original cluster is in this pic.
